Data Conversion Services
 
Our Data Conversion service was created to provide a reliable and convenient data transfer path from your current environment to the eDistrict Unified product set. This service is performed in several steps.

Step One: First our team analyses your current systems data structure
Step Two: Test current data integrity using Validation/Verification techniques
Step Three: Establish a baseline of critical information required for each module to be implemented.
Step Four: Build a conduit that allows data to be piped from your current environment to the eDistrict SIS application

Information that is typically moved from your current file formats and existing applications include Biographical, Attendance, Scheduling and Grade Reporting. Whether you are moving a simple table from Excel or transferring massive amounts of data from a variety of packages, our services and conversation methodology will save you both time and money.
The cost of data conversion is based on the types of data, number of school years and number of student records to be converted. Contact your Sales Consultant for further information.

 
Training
 

The most important aspect of implementing a new Student Information System is training. At eDistrict we offer a full range of Training Options to meet your needs. We work with you to create customized agendas and deliver expert instruction in all of the eDistrict Unified modules.

On-Site

On-Site Training is for those clients who prefer the personal approach. A member of the eDistrict Training Team is assigned to work closely with your Staff. Each school implementation team is interviewed; setting goals and establishing a curriculum that will work within your on-site environment. We believe that planning and timing is important to a successful SIS launch. Once the Trainer is onsite a training framework established that is both flexible and effective, customized to your needs. We recommend this option for large classes.

Remote

Virtual Training on specific features or modules, using your data, are provided via the internet at a reasonable cost. Feed back from those using this option indicate the experience to be very interactive and effective. Both an internet and phone connections are required. Recommended for small class size and individuals looking to supplement specific instruction.

  • Maximum flexibility for scheduling Time Blocks – (3 hours to a block).
  • Option of One on One or Small Group

Train the Trainer

Course work geared towards the Onsite Support Center and Training Setup. We offer both Technical and Administrative classes that empower the in-staff trainer to execute, deliver and evaluate each course. Recommended for large schools or school districts that budget a in-house support staff

Support

 
eDistrict offers a wide range of support alternatives depending on your need and comfort level. We understand that each individual’s medium for effective communication and information requirements are different. In an effort to accommodate these needs our team has developed a support request tracking mechanism that guaranties you request is tracked and resolved. Each of our clients can pick and choose from options such as e-Mail, Chat, FAQ Knowledge Base and Phone Support.

Level One Support –

eDistrict Support Center offers two levels of support services to address the differing needs of schools and districts. Level One support includes the following features:

  • eMail Support – Response back within two hours 8am to 5pm PST Monday through Friday
  • Access to the FAQ Knowledge base over the internet
  • Software updates with implementation notes and effected changes
  • Monthly Tips and tricks Technical support e-mail

Level Two Support –

Level two support is our premium support product and only recommended for those that require immediate assistance:

  • Phone Support – Call back within 4 hours 8am to 5pm PST Monday through Friday
  • eMail Support – Response back within two hours 8am to 5pm PST Monday through Friday
  • Access to the FAQ Knowledge base over the internet
  • Software updates with implementation notes and effected changes
  • Monthly Tips and tricks Technical support e-mail

Premier Support

The option is recommended for large school districts that have a mission critical need for immediate support on-site. Premier support also includes all of the Level Two features, plus:

  • Dedicated Onsite Support – eDistrict will provide an onsite support engineer that can double as an in-house trainer
